Privacy Policy
Ponovo is published by Miroljub Mitrović under the public developer name mirosculptor. This Privacy Policy explains how the Ponovo mobile application handles information.
1. Summary
Ponovo is designed to work locally on your device. We do not require an account. We do not sell personal information. We do not use advertising, behavioral tracking, or analytics. We do not upload your audio recordings, projects, session names, or exported files to our servers.
2. Information handled by the app
Microphone and audio recordings
Ponovo requests microphone permission because recording audio is the app’s core function. Audio is captured only when you start recording a loop or Solo Take. Recordings are processed and stored locally on your device.
Projects and session information
Project files may include audio recordings, session names, mixer and effect settings, creation and modification times, and locally generated MP3, MP4, or project-export files. This information remains on your device unless you choose to share or export it.
Technical data
The production version described by this policy does not use analytics or crash-reporting services and does not transmit device identifiers, usage history, or diagnostics to us.
3. Sharing and exporting
When you choose Share, Export, or Save to Device, Ponovo creates the requested file and passes it to the Android system or to an app or service selected by you. Ponovo does not control how the receiving app or service handles the file. The privacy policy of that third-party app or service applies after you choose to share with it.
4. Data storage and retention
Projects are stored in app-private storage on your device until you delete them, clear the app’s data, or uninstall the app. Files saved outside Ponovo, such as MP3 or MP4 exports, remain on your device until you delete them.
Uninstalling Ponovo may permanently delete projects stored only inside the app. Use Share Project to keep a backup of important projects.
5. Noise reduction and audio processing
Noise reduction, mixing, effects, MP3 encoding, and video creation are performed locally on your device. Audio is not sent to a cloud service for processing.
6. Permissions
Ponovo may request microphone access to record loops and Solo Takes, plus technical Android permissions needed for playback, foreground audio work, sharing, or saving files. Ponovo does not request contacts, location, SMS, call-log, or camera access for its core functionality.
7. Children’s privacy
Ponovo is not designed for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
8. Security
Ponovo uses Android app-private storage for projects. No method of electronic storage is completely risk-free, so users should keep backups of important projects.
9. Your choices
You can deny or revoke microphone permission, delete projects and recordings, clear app data, uninstall the app, and delete exported files through your device. Because Ponovo does not provide user accounts or store personal data on our servers, there is no server account or cloud profile to delete.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app’s features or data practices change. The updated policy will show a new effective date.
